
Teresa Arega (1997, Madeira Island) is a visual artist and educator. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Fine Arts - Intermedia at FBAUP. She lives and works in Porto.She has been actively exhibiting solo and in group shows in various cities across the country since 2014, including notable exhibitions such as "Peguei fogo ao céu" (2022, Galeria do Sol), "Trambolhão" (2022, Centro Cultural Quinta Magnólia), and "Comedy of errors" (2022, Galeria Ocupa). In 2024, she published "Guarda-livros," her first book, edited by Edições da Ruína.Through various dimensions of science fiction, Weilian and Platonic philosophy, Teresa seeks a place that contemplates the relationship between humanity and the natural world. Her artistic practice encompasses drawing, installation, video, and book making.
