MicroTalks is a series of events hosted by Porto Motion, featuring two short talks (15–20 minutes each) per edition, followed by a relaxed gathering with food and drinks. The goal is to give a voice to community members and external guests who share inspiring experiences in the field of motion design.
The guests for this fourth edition are Gustavo Carreiro (illustration, animation, directing, and education at ESAD Matosinhos) and Alessandro Novelli (creative direction, art direction, and animation) — following previous editions with Nídia Dias (creative direction), Vinicius Araújo (3D art at Man vs Machine), Serafim Mendes (multidimensional motion designer who has collaborated with Apple), João Rema (Head of 3D at Buck Amsterdam), Erva (design studio), and Alona Kor (director, art director, and 3D illustrator).
Porto Motion is an international community of motion designers based in Porto. It organizes regular meetups aimed at creating a safe space for sharing work, professional challenges, and networking. Through knowledge exchange and personal interaction, it helps motion designers grow their careers and build meaningful connections within the creative industry.
