Based on the artist recent science fiction story “Found World,” still in development, “PSAPPHA’s Training Room” is an installation that invites people into the room where the story's protagonists meet to oversee the training of the entity PSAPPHA. Digital landscapes, information stored in databases, artificial sounds; images are projected as the memories of a planet. Set in the near future, this group of researchers set out to study a new and paradoxical biome that has begun to form in Antarctica due to global warming - a tropical rainforest. Isolated from the rest of the world, the team relies on an ancient quantum computer whose system unfolds into several functions essential to the research, including the artificial intelligence PSAPPHA.
