Plot Season Book Club is a bi-weekly gathering where a community of book lovers sits down to talk about books, share pastries, and simply enjoy a great Monday together. Our goal is to create a safe space for people to connect and form meaningful relationships, and we make it happen with our book card game, homemade treats, and plenty of smiling faces.
In April, we are reading Circe by Madeline Miller. A feminist reimagining of Greek mythology, focusing on the life of the misunderstood sorceress from Homer's Odyssey. The novel follows Circe's transformation from a scorned, powerless minor goddess in the house of Helios into an independent witch, who hones her powers and finds her own humanity.
